Top 5 Restaurants in Disney Springs

Disney Springs, or previously known as Downtown Disney, is a MUST on your next Walt Disney World Vacation! There are so many things to do for the whole family, including shopping, eating (everyone’s favorite), and lots of fun activities! I highly recommend scheduling Disney Springs into your itinerary (hot tip: visit on arrival day to kick your vacation off!). I am going to give you my top 5 favorite restaurants in Disney Springs, of course in no particular order because I just can’t decide! Before we get started don’t forget to subscribe to get my FREE Disney World Planning Checklist sent straight to your email! Homecomin’ Kitchen

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Kitchen is by far my favorite restaurant at Disney Springs (and not just because I’m from Tennessee and love some good home-cookin!). Homecomin’ really has the farm-to-table feel. They source their ingredients from local Florida farms. Fried chicken is necessary when eating here, it is Chef Art’s famous dish! The fried chicken also comes with a cheddar biscuit and mashed potatoes on the side. Homecomin’ also has many lighter options, as well as, vegan dishes! This restaurant is sure to please everyone in your group! Homecomin’ is one table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

Paddlefish restaurant

Paddlefish has made its way to the top of the Disney Springs Restaurants with its menu, atmosphere, and views! This famous restaurant is an actual boat that sits on Lake Buena Vista and has 360 views of the lake and Disney Springs. The boat was once an authentic replica of a 19th-century riverboat named after Walt Disney’s wife. It was voted the “Best Seafood Restaurant” in 2018 and it definitely lives up to the hype! Of course, there isn’t just seafood on the menu! There is also a great selection of “land” options if you aren’t interested in seafood. Reservations are available and can be booked on your My Disney Experience account. I highly recommend making a reservation if you are interested in this restaurant due to it being a Disney Springs favorite! Paddlefish is also a signature dining experience so it will cost two table-service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse waterfront view

The Boathouse is another nautical-themed restaurant located in The Landing area of Disney Springs. This restaurant offers great views of the lake. They also offer rides in retro Amphicars right next door! So if you choose to enjoy your meal in the outdoor dockside bar you will be able to watch the Amphicars launch. A meal at The Boathouse will be on the pricier side due to it being a signature dining experience, but if you are in the need for an A-MA-ZING meal this is the place to get it! Because it is considered signature dining it will be two table-service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. The boathouse is a super fun and delicious place to grab a meal and I can’t recommend it enough!

Raglan Road

Raglan Road is an Irish Pub and Restaurant located in The Landing area of Disney Springs. Raglan Road isn’t new to Disney Springs, it was in fact around when it was still Downtown Disney! However, the fact that it has remained a very popular dining location shows that it is definitely a must-do for your next Disney vacation. Here you can find authentic Irish food with amazing entertainment like Irish step dancers! Raglan Road is one table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. You will need to make a reservation if you intend on checking this restaurant out so I suggest doing that early, though if you can’t get a table check back day-of in case of cancelations!

The Polite Pig

The Polite Pig is a quick-service restaurant located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. Here they serve dishes like BBQ, Ribs, and Chicken, as well as, a variety of different sides, appetizers, and healthy options. Though this restaurant is technically counter service you do take a number and your food is brought to you by a server. This restaurant also includes a bar for those wanting to enjoy a nice alcoholic beverage with their meal. In all, I think The Polite Pig offers amazing value to the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. You can get a great meal for one quick-service credit. It is also one of the more affordable restaurants at Disney Springs for those who do not have a Disney Dining Plan!
